R Taylor guitar was a low-production, high-end acoustic guitar that was Bob Taylor’s brainchild. The guitars were assembled by a small team of highly skilled craftsmen in a boutique small production luthiery within the Taylor plant with upscale woods and craftsmanship and more attention to each guitar. The 6 skilled luthiers produced guitars from 2006-2011. The shop closed due to a worldwide economic downturn.
