The rebirth of the day at the workshop: a Spanish one from 1947 by one of the greatest luthiers of the school of Valencia. Telesforo Julve was a pupil of his uncle Andres Marin, one of the great masters of Spanish violin making from the beginning of the 20th century.

« Telesforo Julve is a very important person among the guitar makers of Spain. He is the nephew of Andres Marin and many famous masters worked in his workshop. Among them are Ricardo Sanchis Nacher and Vicente Tatay. In 1931 he took over the workshop of Salvador Ibanez e Hijos, from which also some of the best Luthiers have emerged. Telesforo Julve’s guitar are famous among collectors nowadays.»
This one is dated 1947, and wears well the marks of its great age, it was played a lot, pledge of its sound quality, and somewhat mistreated, but I managed to give it back its beautiful look, didn't I?

Back and sides in solid walnut, mahogany neck with very thick amaranth (pink rosewood) fingerboard, walnut head veneer, the heel of the neck is in european Spruce, as is the top, massive.
A crack was stabilized on the top, above his walnut bridge, the pictures show that it is now almost invisible now, and above all, it will never move again!

45 mm at the nut, 640mm scale, the size is close to a Parlor, it is a little classic: total length 96cm, body length 45cm, width 33-21-25cm, thickness of 8 to 9cm with a very slightly arched back.
Its rosewood binding is damaged in places, and someone one day wanted to show his love for the world famous band of the Young brothers, the cleaning / polishing has reduced the effect but depending on the light, we can still discern the 4 emblematic letters.

The Julve are very sought after, with reason, for their quality of manufacture and their sound, and the resale prices between Ebay, Reverb and other Barnebys  often goes towards thousands, but if it is perfectly playable, its aesthetic does not make it a jewel for a demanding collector, therefore I reasonably expect less than 400€.

Setted up with Hybrid Elixir 28/43 strings, no video at the moment, I don't know how to play nylon guitar with my fingers, but I'm going to convince a friend to come by and film it underhand.
As always, a test on the spot is absolutely welcome and even advised, but a shipment is possible, recommended and insured ad valorem. Foreign buyers, please ask for shipping quote.

Description is the more accurate I could do, there are plenty of pictures, guitar is 75 years old, I won't accept any return, sold as is, no exception.
