Great beginner or travel guitar, it has a few blemishes, scratches, but plays beautifully. Very light weight and easy to transport. Nylon stings.

The Ibanez GA5 was a mainstay of its GA classical guitar series. The GA5 has been around since 1998 and was made up until 2013. The GA5 was a budget full sized classical with the typical features of a GA model: natural gloss finised classical style body, spruce top, round soundhole, mosaic rosette, mahogany back, sides & neck, 19-fret rosewood fingerboard (meeting the body at the 12th fret), rosewood classical bridge, slotted headstock with 3-per-side chrome tuners.

Ibanez Classical series of nylon stringed guitars is a very successful one as it offers great value of the guitars for the money player has to invest in purchasing one of them. It consists of several models, of which GA5 is a completely acoustic model and one of the entry level options. It comes with a standard-shaped classical guitar body with non-cutaway design. Back and side panels are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. High gloss finish and a classical rosette around the sound hole decorate the top on GA5. Bridge section is equipped with a standard-shaped bridge made of rosewood. The neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a fingerboard made of rosewood. 19 frets, no inlays and flat radius complete the specs.
