Here is a '40's Bogen Challenger CH18 All Tube Amp w/4-8" Jensen Speaker Cab Custom Made. The man that made this calls them 'Jukeophonic' I did not take the amp apart, but I believe he did some work, not sure what but the amp sounds incredible. Speaker cab has four alnico vintage 8" speakers. See video for more info!
Amp has 1/4" in and output jacks like must other amp do! Amp head can be used with other cab. Two 6v6's make it about 10-20 watts. One input (Mic) is very loud and gets a very unigue distortion, a very warm type of distortion because of the 6sj7 and 6sn7 preamp tubes are of a different character then the modern 12ax7's. In my ear, I hear a much friendlier distortion with the 6sn7 tubes, not so harsh as the 12ax7's can be! The clean channel has has great tome and clarity! Only issue I have is the 4 way tone knob, they should have just given us a volume control. Output jacks on the back will 4 or 8 ohm cab, 4-12 cab no problem!
Very unique looking amp, some time was put into building this amp. You will not be disappointed.
