This beautiful Australian made concert grade classical guitar is in excellent condition.
A few minor scratches and marks but nothing serious as can be seen in the pictures.
This guitar has the standard scale length of 650mm.
Materials used are of the best quality. Ebony fingerboard, Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, Fine grade Spruce for the top.
It is constructed with a lattice top and arched back to enhance projection and sound level.
The arched back has no bracing and to achieve the required strength without bracing John moulds two timbers in a brace. In this case Brazilian rosewood on the outside and what looks like maple on the inside.
Has a strong, balanced tone. Check out some examples on youtube.
Comes with a high quality Hiscox case.
New these sell upwards of $10k US dollars. I've seen listings overseas of guitars of similar age selling for $6k US and above. Add in exchange rate, shipping and GST. So I figure my asking price is quite reasonable. I guess the market will decide.
