Lange made Bruno Tempo Grande #1 Banjo pot. No neck, original dowel stick is included.
Appears to be an 11" head, but may be 10 15/16". I always have to try actual new heads to be sure.
Comes with an unmarked skin head that is serviceable.
All tension hooks and nuts are original and free of rust.
Includes the original dowel stick and long and attractive attachment bolt w/ hole for tailpiece assembly.
Has some sort of metal skirt that goes partially down the side of the rim
The only marking is on the dowel "Pat. Oct 21-24. Assuming that "24" is the year, this banjo rim was made in the mid 1920s.
The tone hoop/ring sits on individual brackets that are attached to each of the rim bolts. This gives the head a slight archtop look.
Very nice rim free of any major/minor structural or cosmetic problems. Metal parts will need light polishing if "shiny" is desired.
Perfect for a five-string neck conversion.
