Kay? Harmony? Regal? I really don’t know. But is was certainly made in Chicago in the 1950s, has a laminated body with scratches, dings and dents all over it from a long life of use and is now back and playable again.

I got this guitar with the glaring omission of a missing top support- it wasn’t just missing; it was never there in the first place. As a result, the top had sunk under the bass side of the bridge and I corrected it by installing a new support rib and a post to bring the top back to where it should be. It is still slightly lopsided but hardly noticeable and the post works perfectly to help slowdown excessive body vibrations making it less prone to feedback- oh, it will still feedback plenty, but not quite as much.

The scale is 25-3/4”, the neck is poplar with a fixed steel trussrod and a hard V carve, not too large but it is wide with a 1-3/4” bone nut- the neck heel had been re-glued previously and is a bit sloppy but fine. I gave the original black stained maple fretboard a fresh 12” radius and new Jescar 47104 frets. It has new vintage style tuners, my aluminum lightening bridge matched with the original trapeze. It plays low and easy- if you like a wide fretboard, this one's for you

Installed are 2 of my Type13SC silverfoil pickups that are hum canceling when played together. They give great tonal options from warm and mellow to biting and cutting- always clean, rich and full.

This is a nice and useful guitar for someone who needs more tonal options and wants to get gritty.
