This custom build features a vintage 90s Fender Strat Ash guitar body with a one-off custom Daphne Blue nitro finish over gloss black featuring relic vibe, arm wear, and buckle rash, with a new licensed by Fender neck with a full amber nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and Daphne Blue nitro headstock face. The body finish has lots of relic wear and many finish chips, with some lacquer checks and cracks around the neck pocket (shown). The body cavities are fully shielded for noise reduction.
Features include genuine Fender lefty stagger 60s reissue grey bobbin pickups, CTS pots, paper in oil tone capacitor, and cloth wiring by hand with blender pot mod, giving you neck and bridge tones + all three pickups in parallel. This useful mod makes the Strat more versatile with two additional tones.
Top quality components include ‘61 reissue neck plate, include 3-ply mint green pickguard, reissue 3 spoke aged knobs, and 3-ply mint green back plate. The bridge assembly has bent steel saddles with vintage string spacing, and is upgraded with a full size sustain block for enhanced tone.
Vintage / modern licensed by Fender custom order neck with solid Canadian Rock Maple, 12” Indian Rosewood fretboard radius, 1 5/8” bone nut, .84”/.95” medium C profile thickness, heavy relic amber nitrocellulose lacquer finish with Daphne Blue nitro headstock face, and pro aged Kluson Deluxe vintage style tuners. This neck ships with a vintage 60s reproduction waterslide.
It weighs in at a very light 7.4 lb and feels great on a strap.
