Steve’s notes: Adrian Kirchler, as you may know, is the master of metal shell drums. He and Johnny Craviotto collaborated on several limited edition snares over the years. Several years back Adrian made 3 copper bop kits. These were his first foray into sets. 8x12, 14x14, 14x18, 4x14 snare. Copper shells and gold hardware. Adrian kept one set, I had one (which I sold to a client), and this set is #3. This was sold to a person in the US who kept it unplayed. He then sold it to a client of mine, who also kept it unplayed. So, this is New Old Stock. These are amazing instruments and even come with a full set of premium bags with the AK logo. My client is thinning some of his collection so we are brokering this for him. I have played the set and it is absolutely incredible. So articulate and it projects wonderfully, and the copper gives it warmth. You can see the stamp that says “No. 3” stamped into one of the tom rims. Of course, Adrian makes everything by hand: shells, lugs, rims, strainer, tom legs and brackets, bass drum spurs and brackets, T rods. Truly a masterpiece and an incredible instrument.  NOTE: International shipping is just an estimate. Some countries are more, some less. Contact us with your address for a specific quote. No returns.
