Yamaha Pacifica PAC904  |  USA Warmoth Neck  |  Old Violin Amber Tint

Made in Japan
except for the Made In USA Custom Warmoth Neck.
Old school quality maple neck w/ Rosewood fingerboard.
Sperzel Tuners
Frets look virtually unplayed, and the guitar is has very low miles.
Professionally set-up and intonated with low action.

Killer feel and tone from the guitar. The coil tap is effective and yields two more colors out of the 5 way switch.  The guitar is Alder with an Ash Cap.  Pickups are high quality Japanese and is evident in the magnets and tones. Harmonically complex tone that is aged like a fine wine. These 90's Pacifica's are on a completely different level when compared to the new Yamaha Pacifica and Revstar lineup.

The guitar would be dead mint save for a minor blemish on the lower left bout where the arm contour cutaway is (see pic, some strange lighting is taking place, so item will be reshot. See First pic for a non reflective view ). The Volume knob is cracked, but glued, as I wanted to keep it vintage. Original Tremolo Bar is missing.

The neck is not super high gloss like the body, but there is a light gloss that fades into zero gloss on the back of the head-stock. I would not say that the gloss is a sateen / satin gloss, but it is not super thick high gloss.
The Neck is a super nice Warmoth neck that was and still is top of the line. Warmoth necks are over 300.00 alone.
Guitar plays beautifully and was professionally set-up and intonated for a low-medium low action.

The Yamaha Pacifica 904 is an offset double-cut strat like guitar like the  but instead was made in Japan and had a compound radius (240mm-400mm) US made Warmoth neck.  Guitar has two single coil pickups with a humbucker in the bridge position. The bridge position actually contains two coupled single coil pickups making it a total of 4 Alnico V single coils in this guitar. Hence the 4 in the model name "Pacifica 904". The tone knob doubles as a (push-push) coil tap. The body of the Yamaha Pacifica 904 has a light ash top and the bridge on this guitar is a Yamaha "Vintage Custom" tremolo.
