LOCAL PICKUP ONLY IN GLENDALE, AZ
Here's your new bass amp. Clearly, a VINTAGE piece. Kasino 200 amplifiers were made by Kustom-----you remember the padded vintage amps that came out in various colors a half century ago. The style was called "tuck and roll". They were originally made in Chanute, Kansas-------where this one was produced in 1972. Yeah, It's 50.
This amp is RARE. Kasinos were only made from 1972-1975. I've seen both five and six-digit serial numbers on others. The serial number on this one is 4XXX, which would make it one of the earliest Kasino amps. It has 200 watts of power and a couple of 15" speakers which sound flawless. It has 2 wheels on back.
Never anything but reliable, the amp is all original, and it's big enough for most jobs. With all these controls, there are a multitude of tonal choices for both guitar and bass. It's been my practice amp for 45 years and it's never been in the shop.
You don't see many of these amps anymore, and none in this fabulous condition. Check online. If you even find one, it likely won't be as nice. Other than a few very minor "owies" on the back, the amp is flawless. Notice how clean the grill is. There isn't a cut, tear or imperfection to be seen. No cuts in the tolex covering (or whatever it is) on the sides and top of the amp All the knobs, the handles, the 15-foot power cord, even the silver trim around the knobs, and corner protective brackets are almost like new. Everything is solid. And it has been in a low-humidity environment for most of its life.
This is an excellent amp, well cared-for, and with many years left in it. (Imagine yourself buying and treasuring this amp for another 25 years. Not many people could say they have a 75-year-old bass amp.) Proudly adopt this vintage Kasino, and......................r a t t l e t h e w a l l s.
