Built in the late 80's or 1990, these were made and sold for a VERY SHORT TIME.
Only 250 are purported to have been created. The serial number sticker is missing, which is JUST PERFECT to add to the mystery surrounding these.

Knobs and pickups all work great. Switch works great too, but it's missing the little round cap thingy. I tried the one from my Les Paul but it's not exactly the same thread size. Needs a smaller thread.
As mentioned on the very infrequent posts about this model, this Guitar is a Monster in terms of tone and sustain. It is the favorite in serious guitarists' collections. For good reason. However I am selling to afford gig equipment.
24 frets! That's a lot of notes!! Cast bridge with original saddles. Intonation has been performed, so play across the fretboard!
Interesting to note: Innovative tone and volume knobs with no hard limit. You can go from 1 to 10 or 10-1 with a click, rather than sweeping all the way back through 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10. There is a bump-notch "stop" at both ends of the knob travel, but you can bump it past the stop when desired. Effectively you can turn the knob a hundred times around in the same direction, and it will just stop at 10 each time, but it allows you to make that choice. It's definitely a feature, though it's hard to describe it here without making it sound like a defect. The function is that the volume knob can act as a kill switch or tone switch.
Please READ the BAD news: Missing the plastic switch head for the pickup selector. Some dings and scratches are present in the red finish, tried to make them visible in the photos - pay lots of attention to the photos!! Probably at least a dozen of these imperfections and scratches in several areas/edges. The bridge is a bit dusty. These DO NOT have an effect on performance, functionality, or playability. They will probably make you more comfortable to play it and hold it. I am not nervous around it, since I know I'm not going to put the first scratch into it.
