2001 Tacoma EM9 Little Jumbo w Case

This 2001 Tacoma little jumbo acoustic guitar features a solid sitka top, mahogany back and sides, tortoise binding and a light satin finish. Other appointments include a rosewood fretboard and bridge, paua shell (abalone) dot inlays, and a very cool four-color wood rosette. Very responsive and versatile guitar with a warm tone - perfect for fingerpicking or strumming.   

Very responsive and versatile guitar with a warm tone - perfect for fingerpicking or strumming.  This guitar has none of the usual finish issues that came with glossy Tacomas.  But it is 20+ years old and shows some dings and marks that have come from a lifetime being played and enjoyed.  Most noticeable is an area on the back edge of the guitar where it appears to have been dropped. Some other small marks and dings can be found in other areas - see all pictures for more details.  None of the visual issues have any impact on the sound of the guitar - still plays beautifully.  And on the whole, the guitar still looks quite nice, as you will see in the pictures.

Frets have been polished, fingerboard oiled, and guitar has been cleaned up and given a new set light strings.  Also, this guitar will ship with a very nice TKL hardshell case - it is not the usual Tacoma embossed case you tend to see with these guitars, but I am not sure every guitar in every year of production shipped with those Tacoma cases, so it may well be original.  It fits the guitar perfectly.
