This flattop parlor guitar with an archtop-like adjustable floating bridge is a beautiful and quite typical example of guitars made during the 1930's in the manufactures located in Schonbach, Czechoslovakia (a region very famous for musical instrument production and also exporting quality copies of American guitars all over the world). It's in very good and preserved condition especially for its age, thoroughly checked and refurbished. Even though it can fit well in any vintage acoustics collection, this is no museum piece – it is completely and comfortably playable, and has a snappy, projecting and quite a captivating sound with a little bit of natural reverbation that really does it justice!

The guitar has been checked and cleaned, it has a 2 piece solid spruce top, straight maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and rosewood bridge, bone nut and a zero fret (which was the typical configuration for guitars made in this region at that time). The top, back and fretboard are all bound/inlaid with celuloid. The tuners work great too and there are no structural issues and the varnish is in great condition. Cracks seen on the photos were repaired properly and do not impair the sound or function of the guitar in any way. As it is with most historical guitars I sell, this is not only a collectable instrument, but also one that is ready to continue being played and used.

A vintage soft case is included with the purchase.

The scale lenght is 625 mm, nut width 45 mm and at the moment, it is strung up with a new set of 11 gauge vintage spec silver plated steel strings.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like a further sound sample or any other information. I always pack the guitars super carefully and ship worldwide! The shipping price for USA and other non-EU countries is with FedEx and 5 day delivery. Please contact me for other options (also insured, lower price, but slower).
