For anyone who appreciates the influential leads and heavy riffs of Metallica's lead guitarist, the KH-202 will deliver. It features bolt-on construction, a basswood body, an extra-thin U-shaped maple neck, roasted jatoba fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets and Kirk's skull-and-bones inlays, and components that include a Floyd Rose Special bridge and a set of ESP Designed LH-301 pickups. Available in Black finish.

Product Overview
ESP (Electronic Sound Products) started in 1986 in Tokyo from a chain a guitar parts retail stories. The LTD sub-brand started in 1996 out of South Korea. 

Kirk Hammett has a number of signature models with LTD, mostly stemming from the 2001 KH-502 model. The KH-202 is similar to the KH-502 but featured a Basswood body instead of Alder. Pickups were EMG-type humbuckers with a 24 fret fingerboard featuring skull and crossbone inlays.
