A good ol’ traditional Ram’s Head Big Muff with fancy
tweaks. This one has the more usable AMZ style tone stack, and an added
‘mids’ control to help you get that bit more presence. I’ve also included a
second germanium clipping option. There is a noticeable volume difference
between the two, that’s the nature of the beast, but you’ll have plenty volume
on tap to compensate.
Controls are volume, gain (sustain), tone and mids (presence).
The switch is for clipping options. Left is germanium (Ge) diode clipping, right is silicon (Si) diode clipping.
Use with standard centre negative BOSS style +9V power supply
