Yamaha G-55-1 classical 1976 red brown

This Yamaha G-55-1 is a great full size classical guitar with a beautiful red brown finish.
It has got an intonated saddle, which increases richness in tone and harmonic content.
According to internet research it was made in 1976.

Interesting fact: the number inside on the neckblock (not the serial#) reflects that the neck has already been made in Japan, but was sent to Taiwan where the guitar was assembled. Later models don’t have this additional number.

There are lots of nicks and scratches, especially on the back as you can see on the pictures.
Also, it has some letters/numbers engraved into the back of the headstock. I can’t say if it’s from someone prominent or if that would turn it into a Million Dollar guitar. Check the pictures, fill me in. The strings are new, but will be loosened again before shipping.

The guitar comes with a chipboard case, most probably age-appropriate one for the guitar. The case has functioning latches, but shows heavy wear and tear, and part of the stitching came loose. It would still serve as a nice vintage indoor dust cover imho.
