It really is a mystery piece. I’ve taken it to the best shops in Nashville to authenticate. We know it was painted by an artist in San Francisco in the mid-80s. The body is definitely a partscaster that they believe could be a Japanese Fender body. The neck is a 50s relic made by Fender. But I find it odd there’s no stamps where there normally would be. Also includes the 70s guitar case, extra bridge, and whammy bar. There are strings back on the guitar btw. They also believe they’re Fender custom pickups. Not quite sure what year custom. But it also has a Fender push-pull Pot. Everywhere I’ve been to get it authenticated, they say even if the body isn’t a real Japanese Fender, they think the relic job and story of the guitar within itself is around 1,000. They said if the body is a real fender it’s worth more. As well as the neck. But since I don’t know for sure. I don’t wanna rip anyone off. So I went with 1,000. But I’m also throwing in a 70s case, extra fender bridge, wammy, and strap. So I settled on around $1,500.
