This custom ordered Musicmaster spec guitar is hand made in USA to exact 1959-1961 specification. It is the first ever, and first and only, custom order left handed Musicmaster guitar made for 22.5” scale.
The guitar features an amazing Sienna Burst nitro lacquer finish on a lightweight Pine body cut to vintage specs, and is outfitted with all pro-aged top quality hardware.
This unique body is masterfully painted and aged by MJT with first class lacquer checking and realistic play wear. These are some of the most sought after relics on the market with just the right amount of checking, dings and finish wear.
Real vintage Fender parts include: Fullerton era bridge, saddles, and Bakelite pickup cover. The electronics are newer CTS pots and the pickup is a hand wound vintage replica Duo Sonic Musicmaster Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickup. The knobs are spot on vintage spec reissues.
This guitar features a very high end Custom neck, with incredible specs:
AAA curly tiger flamed maple. 7.25” radius, medium frets, Caribbean Rosewood fretboard, thin C profile and 1.5” A width nut, with pro aged Kluson Deluxe cream button tuners, and an incredible 100% thin nitrocellulose lacquer amber relic finish with dark weather checking.
Altogether this guitar has a ton of sustain, is impossible to find in lefty configuration, has over $3,000 invested —- and weighs an ultra light 5.8 lb.
