For sale is a 2011 D-18 Authentic 1937 in excellent overall condition. These guitars are rare and don't come up for sale often, for good reason. This is an outstanding example with all the volume and headroom you'd expect from a guitar built to pre-war specs, but is also ultra responsive to a light touch. It's an absolute powerhouse of a guitar.
Neck angle on this guitar is spot on - action measures 6/64" and 4/64" at the 12th fret with .004-.005" relief with EJ17 medium strings, nut slots are filed to fret height. The frets show a little bit of wear, but have plenty of life left. The guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing.
Condition-wise, this guitar is in excellent overall shape, especially considering its age. It has a few very minor indentations on the top, typical swirling in the finish from wiping/handling, and a ding on the top of the headstock.
