Art & Lutherie Guitars are built in Canada in the same traditions of lutherie while embracing innovative design and modern practices. Designing guitars worthy of the stage but so comfortable and welcoming that you find yourself lost in them on your front porch.
The Roadhouse is Art & Lutherie's offering in a parlor sized guitar. Being their smallest offering it is great for traveling or even backpacking. Small size does not however mean small sound... The Roadhouse shares the same 24.84" scale length as its larger, 14 fret counter parts the Americana and the legacy. Because it has the same scale length but the body meets the neck at the 12th fret instead of the 14th, this means the bridge is shifted further down into the lower bout increasing the resonance in the lower frequency's.
Hand Rubbed FinishAll Hand-Rubbed Havana Brown stained finish. Then four coats of finish are added and finalized with a custom polish.
