About This Listing

This is a legendary American tube condenser microphone on par with many of the famous German made manufactures such as Neumann, Gefell and the like. Engineer, Bruce Swedien, praised these microphones, and you can see what he wrote on Gearspace about them.

I bought it from an owner in France and it was sold without the power supply. For a while now, I had the intention of building a custom power supply myself, but I won't have the time to it as I have too many projects. I would prefer to pass this along to someone who is willing to build the supply. Because I never built the power supply, I unfortunately have no way of diagnosing, and therefore confirming, the microphone's function.

Buyer should buy this with the intention of building/buying an Altec M11 power supply and its corresponding cable. Additionally, I can put the buyer in contact with a custom power supply builder. Included with this microphone is the correct corresponding Amphenol mutli-pin connector.

Please take a close look at the photos. Note that there is a small paint chip near the capsule. Other than that, I don't see any other cosmetic issues.

International buyers should contact me directly to estimate shipping costs. Customs charges are your responsibility, however.
