Vintage 1968 Kimberly by Fujigen Gakki Bass Guitar Pro Setup Case

A really cool 1968 Kimberly 30 inch scale Neck Bass Guitar in great shape.. it looks great!

Kimberly Bass Guitars were Japanese made by the Fujigen Gakki Company. It is said they had on of the finest wood factories in Japan. They made very high quality guitars in the 1960’s branded with not only Kimberly but also Apollo, Avalon, Electra, Greco, Kent, Lindell and Zim Gar! All well respected brands from Japan.

Lets review whats original on this one....

It has the original Neck, Kimberly Raised Logo, Head Stock, Tuners, Tuner grommets, nut, body, both Original Pickups, Fully adjustable bridge, Bridge Cover, those are always missing, knobs, Switches, Thumb rest and Pickguard ......Whoa!!

Now lets see whats not original...

Not Much!!

Only the Truss Rod Cover. The previous owner had his initials stamped into it. You can turn it over and use it without the initials but we wanted to disclose its there. See pic 7...

Our tech did a great job with this one.....He worked on the neck to give it really nice playing action . It has some relief to the neck and the truss rod works... The neck is great...a full 1 3/4 inch at the nut.. the scale length is 30 inchs .. its lots of fun..it looks great.......This Bass guitar is ready to rock for another 50 Years!! ..

The guitar is in great shape but still has dings and scratches..this one is in great shape! Just cosmetic dings and scratches as expected on 1960's vintage guitars. We left the Flat Wound strings that were on it. The frets are in great shape. This guitar must have have flats on it for its entire life... See pics....

Check out the soft shell case. The guitar fits in great. The zipper works great, both accessory boxes are still there and some damage to the handle...see pic 14…. Nice case for your cool bass guitar!

.....Now this guitar is beautiful but its used and sold as-is no returns..however...I have been hand picking my customers guitars for over 20 years now and they all loved the guitars I found them ...This cool Kimberly Bass will certainly not be an exception...
