Heritage version of a Gibson Super 400. Built by the same men who built the Gibson Super 400's, of the 1950's and 1960's These same men built some of the best Super 400's.
This is in very good condition. And it sounds like Elvis' Super 400 did, in the 68 comeback special when plugged in. Very T-Bone Walker when unplugged or played electrically, at low volumes.
Very slight binding separation in very small area, in that typical spot, where the pickguard mounts to side of body. Lacquer check on rear headstock veneer. Over the years the bridge post bushing holes on the bridge enlarged a tiny bit. Allowing the bridge posts to touch the top under the bridge, leaving small marks. Since they are under the bridge you can't even see them. The guitar plays extremely well and sounds great. I'm sure anyone who wants that Super 400 sound, at a fraction of the cost, will be very happy.
