Selling this and a few others from my collection to help fund a large purchase.
I had always been fascinated by Akira Takasaki’s Killer star guitars since I was a kid and first seen the Loudness rock and roll crazy nights video. I later came across a guy back in the early 2000s who had a friend in Japan that was trustable enough to buy and ship me this guitar, as Killer guitars just could not be found in the states. It was originally black, and I later decided I wanted to have a brighter color with some pop to it, so I had my luthier send it out for the custom tangerine color that I had picked out. The finish is as amazing as it looks in the pics, no nicks/scuffs/chips/scratches etc. So being a huge Yngwie Malmsteen fan, I also sent the neck off to Dean at DC customs for a full and proper scallop. I have used him on all of my bolt on necks for scalloping, and they always do a top notch A1 job. During the build I also had my luthier install the pictured Seymour Duncan Gus G blackout pickup set including battery and preamp. I probably have under an hour of play time on this but I do remember being really happy with the pickups. We also upgraded all the hardware to chrome, and installed the new Floyd Rose that you see in the photos. Sadly the guitars spent 99.9 percent of its life since then on a wall being displayed in my guitar room. As cool as it looks, I’m just a Les Paul guy at heart because that’s what I’m most comfortable playing. This guitar will come with its original Killer guitar bag / soft case. Let me know if you have any questions. If you’re near Indianapolis let me know if you’d like to see it in person. Ask me for a shipping quote if you need it sent outside of the USA.
