Made in Kalamazoo. This is the L model that was Gibson's earlier attempt at replicating the Loar made F5. Although these are not exacting models to the original F5's they are designed after, they are excellent F5 mandolins that are made with excellent woods.

The case is an aftermarket F case and it has a case cover. There is some moderate fret wear but the mandolin plays out fine and is set up very well. The tuners appeared to have been changes and we did not receive the original pick guard.
