A very early Revelator tele build from when Eric was a one man shop and hand building custom ordered guitars. It was one of about 10 made in 2006. I am the original owner and purchased this directly from Eric when the person who ordered it backed out. I was told at the time of purchase that it was loosely based on Marc Ford's 1961 tele.

While I have not tried any recent Revelator models, I feel that back in 2006, Eric was one of the best when it came to the relic process and attention to historical detail. I love the way this guitar feels, plays and sounds, has a real nasty honky tonk feel to it.

Swamp ash body
Yellow over white lacquer finish with medium relicing
Maple neck with dark rosewood fretboard
9.5" radius with tall thin frets (no visible fretwear)
The neck feels nicely broken in without just sanding the back. Jut superb feeling.
Lollar GVCG pickups
Fender bridge with steel threaded saddles

Weight is 7.2 pounds
Neck is a medium D shape with some shoulders. Measurements are:

Width - 1.69" at the nut, 2.05" at the 12th fret
Depth - 0.84" at the 1st fret, 1.00" at the 12th fret

Comes with a G&G tweed hardcase and 2 hand signed letter from Eric with info and specs.

Into guitars, especially those made in Japan?
Be sure to check out my new website (DerbyCityGear.net) where you'll find detailed information about my collection including detailed information on specific models, some quite rare.
