  • 1-3/16" nut, 14" scale.
  • Original tuners (upper righthand tuner is a bit stubborn), nut made of Mother-of-Pearl (not bone), one-piece ebony bridge, "The Gibson" tailpiece cover.

Condition:  ( I am not a dealer nor a historian. I am describing this instrument as accurately and completely as possible.)
Normal playwear for a 100 year old instrument.
No major cracks, no seam separation, no warpage, nor repairs.
Neck is straight, unwarpt, and securely attached to body.
Slight pitting of fretboard in first few frets but my luthier reports the pitting is negligible and requires no attention.
Finish has been worn away along the edge of the lower bout to right of tailpiece, south of the bass-side f-hole.
Note: two small hairline cracks (less than 1") where the point blocks join the side of the body running parallel to the neck and parallel to tailpiece. My luthier reports that these cracks follow the edge of the point blocks and do not extend into the sound box of the body. Cracks are stable and do not affect sound production.
Frets have been recently replaced and leveled.
Original hard shell case in fair condition – thin red plush interior, working latches and leather handle. Case stays closed when latched.
