If you are looking for a shiny, glossy finish on a guitar you will definitely not find that here. This a vintage, worn out instrument with a lot ow wear, tear, dings and scratches throughout. At some point the original Burns tremolo was replaced with a Bigsby unit which definitely keeps the guitar in tune a lot better. The paint job done afterwards was not so great but it adds to the vintage look. Everything works flawlessly on the guitar. The string tuning and height, the truss rod, the pots and the pickup core heights are all adjusted and work like a charm. These pickups have some of that Stratocaster jangle and sparkle and surely can take me back to the shimmering sixties :) I just put a fresh Ernie Ball 0.008-0.038 set on it. The neck is straight (I didn't touch the truss rod) and the frets are surprisingly beefy and flat. No buzz or pits.
The vintage tweed case is included (year not known) as well as the key, a vintage strap and a brand new cord.
I ship promptly, continental US only. I can relax the strings for the trip if you so specify. I leave killer feedbacks and would like one in return...
