Roberts Project 1620 1055 Tube Amplifier and Case Custom Guitar Tape Recorder 1963 Gray

This amp was part of the Roberts Akai Tape Recorder, but the tape playing part is gone.  It looks like a cool project to modify and install a larger front speaker, since it's already got a handle and cover.  The case is in rough shape but is strong - see photos.  This dates from immediately before all Roberts/Akai equipment was made in Japan. I do not believe any modifications have been made to the circuitry.

It needs three more tubes:  2 6BM8 and a 6CA4.
