A British handcrafted 'concert'-size (0) 12 fret guitar in Indian rosewood and Red cedar with a 47mm/1.85" neck width at the nut.

Beneath its well-considered good looks and clean, purposeful construction lies an incredibly comfortable, responsive instrument.
It fits snuggly close to your body without pushing your right shoulder forward while (by virtue of the 12 fret join and 632mm/24.88" scale length) all of the fingerboard is within easy reach of your fretting hand.

And despite its diminutive stature, its voice is full and loud, with great balance, excellent clarity and a surprise in the
bass which is deeper and more robust than you would expect.

The lightly-braced AAAA cedar top turns gentle picking into clear, warm notes with plenty of depth and a slight smokiness to them. As you pick a bit harder you can produce more strident notes without it sounding boxy or lacking headroom.

The construction is both considered and immaculate: Its open headstock has carefully radiussed, square-cut slots and an angular, crisp outline which lend a subtle modern sophistication to a traditional design, while the figured solid Oregon myrtlewood top and soundhole binding are a luxurious touch.

Patrick James Eggle is a renowned and highly-experienced guitar-maker based in Oswestry, a town in England a stone's throw from the border with Wales.
After parting from (the predominantly electric) Eggle guitars in the mid-90s, Patrick began focussing on making fine acoustic guitars, which he continues to do today with a small team of craftsmen.
