This MINT condition KH-DC was made in the ESP Japanese Custom Shop. The build quality and craftmanship is top notch with playbilty and tone to match. The double cutaway body is made with premium mahogany back and gorgeous flamed maple top. The carved maple top is bound in multiple layers of creme binding and has an elevated, white pickguard. It is finished in a beautiful see thru black cherry gloss finish. In the bridge department a TonePros tune-o-matic bridge is paired with a stoptail bar, both plated in gold. It is equipped with an EMG81 active humbucker in the bridge and a EMG60, (also active) in the neck position. It has split volume controls, master tone and a three-way toggle switch. The super comfortable neck is made of mahogany as well with a thin U contour and set-in neck joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood with a set of 22 extra jumbo frets (with last 5 frets of fretboard scalloped), flag position inlays and 1.65" wide bone string nut. It has a 25-1/2" scale, Sperzel locking tuners and gold plated hardware. The bottom line is this guitar plays like a dream and ROCKS!!! Weight: 9.2 lbs
