Fender Stratocaster 1989 Made in Japan MIJ Vintage White

1989 Fender Stratocaster, Made in Japan, Very Good to Excellent condition in Vintage White with rosewood fretboard. Very beautifully made, and to me, these are great approximations of the sound and feel of 60s strats, but with the benefit of some updated hardware, including great Gotoh tuners and modern string trees. Comes with original trem arm, and everything works perfectly. Tone is very faithful to 60s strats, very round, lucid, not overwound like many modern strats, and sounds like Jimi with effects applied.

These guitars originally came with unbeveled, 1-ply pickguards that are a mess once they start warping. This guitar has a very nice, aftermarket w-b-w pickguard installed that fits perfectly. There is a scratch on the forearm contour (pictured), a small ding on the lower horn (pictured), cracks in the finish at the neck pocket (pictured), a chip in the finish at the neck pocket (pictured), a very small amount of corrosion on the pole pieces (pictured), a small amount of corrosion on the saddles (pictured). All signs of light wear on a 28-year-old guitar. Neck is perfectly straight and true. Frets are in great shape, very little wear. 

Guitar ships with a used gig bag for protection. Zippers on accessory compartments are busted, but the main compartment is secure and it's good padding.
