This is a four string tenor banjo made by S.S. Stewart from the 1920's/1930's. Has a new head, strings and bridge. The case is from a Gibson TB-4 that is pretty beat but useable. Handle and latches still work and no funky smells.

This is an old but well built instrument with what ebony stained fingerboard, diamond inlays, no fret wear and a 3-piece V-neck with friction tuners. One of the hook/nuts was changed. Has been sitting in storage so it could use a setup to play it's best. Check out the pics and please ask any questions. This beauty needs a new home.
