About This Listing

Maybe you got one of these for Christmas as a kid, or played in a garage band with this as your first guitar.

Mid-'70s example of Matsumoku (possibly Fuji Gen Gakki) Les Paul copy made in Japan for Veneman's Music Emporium (stores and mail order catalog) located near Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda/Rockville, Maryland.

These early 'lawsuit-era' copies are well made, are super solid and super fun to play. Over time the resin in these bodies age wonderfully and feel as comfortable to play as a Gibson SG with that light & solid. assured feel ... and so much fun! These are similar to Aria or National Japanese guitars from the same era.

The original bridge is included but has been replaced by a modern import bridge. This guitar has been recently set up and new strings have been fitted. Player's grade with light wear with light surface scratches.

A totally fun guitar to play and write riffs or songs on.
