This listing is for a Vintage 1960's Old Kraftman by Kay Swingmaster K-672 Electric Hollowbody Guitar. This guitar was made by Kay (Old Kraftsman) in the early 1960's. The guitar is in quite good playing condition with low and comfortable action. The tuners are changed and the guitar is missing the pickguard but otherwise the guitar appears to be all original. The only issue with the guitar is the original frets are starting to show their age and some of the notes are buzzy or plunky. There is also a very slight dip in the neck around the 12th fret. I did try and give the guitar a fret level and it's a lot better but there still are some buzzy and plunky notes and to make the guitar perfect the only thing to do is a plane and refret. It's a borderline situation so I plan to let the ultimate final owner decide if they want to do the fretwork or not. The Kleenex box pickups sound incredible. The guitar looks really nice, has the original sparkle knobs and nickel tailpiece and the guitar is almost worth more in parts than it is all together. That said, I can't bring myself to part this one out since it's a really nice one and hopefully someone can get the set up and frets right and then it can be a really excellent guitar. The guitar comes with a gig bag and will be expertly packed for safe shipping. Please message for international shipping rates.
