DROPPING THE PRICE DOWN TO 600 UNTIL JANUARY 29TH. It will be going back up after that and I'm not taking less than 600 right now.
This is a 1984 Gibson Challenger. The pickups have been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan 59 in the neck and a JB in the bridge. The neck has also had some work done on the finish on the back so it now has a natural mate finish. It plays very smoothly and feels just wide enough for space in soloing and comfortable chording. A crack in the neck near the headstock was repaired by the previous owner. The tuners have been upgraded to locking Gotohs. I do not have the original pickups or tuners. This thing sounds absolutely incredible with gain and crunch. The tuning stability is out of this world. Its a great players guitar and I have restrung it with a fresh pair of Elixir strings (10s). Sold with the Gibson case. Feel free to make an offer, I will accept reasonable ones.
