Up for sale is this incredible Gibson Custom shop
1961 SG reissue. This guitar is possibly a one-off
(with these exact features) Antique Pelham Blue
in VOS finish with a super dark Bolivian Rosewood
fingerboard! This guitar pre-dates the Murphy Lab
by only a few weeks, so possible it was an experimental
piece finish wise at the time.
Either way this guitar is killer in both looks and
playability. The Bolivian Rosewood fingerboard seems
to enhance note definition . Kind of a cross between
Rosewood and Ebony. Feels premium, smooth and
less porous than your typical Rosewood
