Tokai TST-50-FS Modern 3-Tone Sunburst

Tokai TST-50-FS Modern 3-Tone Sunburst is a gorgeous Tokai Premium Series ST model with modern components. It’s handcrafted in Japan of selected woods and equipped with top notch parts and high quality Seymour Duncan pickups for the maximum tone.

The TST-50-FS Modern has a selected 2 piece ash body. The maple neck has a comfortable satin finish with U-profile. This model’s rosewood fingerboard offers a 9,5” radius with medium jumbo frets for maximum playability.

Seymour Duncan Vintage Staggered Strat single coil pickups in the neck and middle positions are built exactly as they were in the old days, for all the chime and bell tone enjoyed by Stratocaster players in the 50s. They use hand grounded alnico 5 rod magnets and heavy Formvar magnet wire with a special wind pattern to produce that bright, glassy, bell tone with all of the bounce and sparkle you’d expect from the best vintage Strat pickups. A perfect match for these is the Seymour Duncan 59 Model humbucker in the bridge position. It is a full sounding, versatile PAF style humbucker with an articulate treble attack, full bottom end, and scooped midrange. The 59 Model has tons of old-school tonal character, but with a brighter top end, and a more compressed sound.

The TST-50-FS Modern also features a Gotoh 510TS-F 2-point tremolo bridge, allowing easy adjustment and reliable action. Your tuning stays perfectly with Gotoh Magnum Lock locking tuners and the truss rod is easily adjustable at the headstock.

This guitar is finished in beautiful gloss lacquer 3-Tone Sunburst and chrome components.

A certificate of authenticity is included with the instrument. The guitar comes in a durable, black Tokai hard case.
