Vintage Original 1959-61 Fender Dogbone Amp Amplifier Handle Light Brown 1st Version Tweed Blond

Original Vintage rare 1st version Fender Light Brown plastic dog bone handle with the original clasps, good gloss with surface scratches, a few deeper scratches and some rust on original clasps.

Handle does have a split in the middle in the center of the handle and was in two pieces, it has been Super Glued and clamped and I cannot vouch for it's long term reliability beyond shipping (See photos for closeups).

These original handles usually have no flexibility left so I would never attempt to flex it even to the extent of being careful while mounting it so as to not put any stress on it as they are fragile. Photo with tweed covering is reference only and not included in listing.
These beautiful original handles are for display purposes only! I would never carry an amplifier or a cabinet using an original handle.
These handles were used on the larger tweed amps such the Twin and Bassman and on the early white Twin and Showman heads and bottom cabinets of the period and have become quite rare to find.
