About This Listing

1968 Fender Telecaster with rare slab maple neck. Killer sparkle nitro refin/restore by GM Vintage Restorations. All original except for the nitro refin and the original “3OCT68B” neck  was refretted a few years ago. A previous owner had aftermarket tuners on it at one time before the originals were put back on (you can see slight ring indentions where they rested on the headstock but no extra screw holes). Original 1968 body is super light weight ash with lots of checking in the nitro finish. Original white pick guard has minimal yellowing, and has shrunk slightly in 50+ years.  Original 1968 pickups sound amazing … plenty of spank and twang. Lots of mojo here. Original hardshell case included. Has a Fantastic Don Rich/Buck Owens Vibe.......great guitar!
