The DAVE series from LD Systems is a brilliant example of their 'pro audio in motion' motto, demonstrating just how good compact, portable PA systems can be. The DAVE 8 Roadie is a very compact system comprising an active subwoofer with integrated mixer and a pair of passive satellite speakers. It is a complete PA system more than capable of providing sound of events for up to 70 people with a peak power rating of 1400W.

Designed from the ground up as flexible, portable solution for musicians and DJ's, the mixer in the LD Systems Dave 9 Roadie can be used in a number of ways. Using the system entirely as a standalone solution, the 3-channel mixer has a wide variety of options:

The LD Systems Dave 8 Roadie is made up of a high-performance band-pass subwoofer with an 8" driver and 2 satellite speakers with 2x 4" drivers and a 1" tweeter. The sub is housed in a compact, painted MDF enclosure into which is mounted the 3-channel mixer, system amplifier and an integrated transport handle. The staellite speakers are also constructed from the same painted MDF with integrated transport handles and measure only 350mm along the long side!

Other features of the amplifer include a phase switch, main volume control, sub level control to get that perfect balance of bottom end in the mix, a built-in limiter and all the usual protection circuits to keep the system in tip-top condition and in service for a very long time.
