Cortez G -120 Classical Guitar 70s Vintage Japan Rare

This is an extremely rare instrument. It’s very well built as well. Rosewood back and sides, solid top.

It was set up for the a Nashville tuning. Notice the bridge saddle.
I will let the future owner decide if that should stay or go. To me the saddle looks a little high. (Sitting to y’all on bridge) Making the action a little too high around the 12th.

So put your own 6th string saddle and go for it.

The Cortez brand was made in the Fugi Gen factory in Japan. The best factory back then, and, well, still is.

The neck is nice and straight. No fret wear. Tunnels work fine.

Cosmetics are pretty great — you’ll find a few slight scars and scratches.

We don’t even want to talk about the price of a comparable instrument in today’s !!

So this multi thousand dollar value instrument can be had for a song. No pun intended.

No case or gig bag. If a good chip board case pops up in my inventory that will fit it — I’ll send it in that for free.
