Ludwig 20/12/14/4x14" Downbeat Transition Badge Drum Set - Pink Oyster. Finest Known

Here is a very collectable vintage Ludwig Downbeat drum set! Sized 14x20", 8x12", 14x14" and 4x14", this is an all-original matching outfit with transition badges, a very clean Pink Oyster wrap, and a full set of vintage Ludwig hardware plus some accessories! This includes a Speed King bass drum and hihat pedal, snare stand, cymbal stand, cymbal L-arm, Ludwig cowbell with bass drum hoop mount, a clamp-on bass drum muffler, and a Ludwig hex key as well as a standard Ludwig drum key to complete the set. These drums are in outstanding condition with no cosmetic wear to report. Its push-button floor tom legs look and function as if they were brand new. This will make an incredible addition to a Ludwig collection! Steve's notes: This is absolutely as good as it gets. This set was offered for sale many years back and the video for it is still on You Tube. The set went to a friend of mine who then sold it to another client of mine, who is now "thinning the herd" a bit. This kit is absolutely magnificent. It is what I consider to be the finest known example of this finish in these sizes. Some of you may know that Ludwig only made about 125 drums from this finish. That's "drums", not "drum sets". So, there were maybe 30 4 pc kits ever built. They almost never come up for sale, and when they do they do not last long. Truly a Ludwig collector's dream come true.
