SERVING THE MIAMI VALLEY FOR OVER 600 YEARS
This is a 1979 Gibson Series 1 Protector Case in very good shape with 3 working latches and an intact padded handle. The case came in on trade with a guitar (since sold) that was purchased 5/1/79 according to the warranty card in the case.
Two of the latches are original and one has been replaced with a latch from the same manufacturer and of the same type. It was attached with nuts & bolts and is solid (see pics). The lining was hot glued back around the nuts. I bought a pack of three replacements and will include the other two.
The hinges are all in good working order, as is the interior. It was owned by a non-smoker, so it does not smell of smoke (or pets). There were some stickers on the case at some time and you can still see the outlines, if you look. The outside has some minor wear and scratches, but nothing unusual for a 38 year old case.
The case will carefully packed and fully insured.
