This is a very interesting acoustic guitar or unknown original. It was sold to us as a Lyon & Healy but we are skeptical. The details and specifications look to be from the late 1800's or very early 1900's. This guitar is possibly of European origin - we are just not sure. The guitar has solid brazilian rosewood back and sides. The guitar plays and sounds beautifully and is strung with silk & steel strings. The guitar has been worked on throughout the years and has some repaired cracks. The bridge appears to be original but someone added a block in front to keep it from leaning forward. The guitar has had a refret. The neck has been reset multiple times over the years and currently the neck angle is good. The action is comfortable and the guitar is a great finger picking instrument. The guitar comes with a hard shell case.
