Rare and legendary JBL D140 R 8 ohm bass speaker, similar to the D130 F guitar speaker but originally voiced for organs. The ‘R’ stands for the Rogers Organ Company, this speaker was developed in the ‘60s and sounds fantastic for bass guitar. It’s is also in remarkable shape for its age. Cone is pristine. We reviewed this speaker in our Ampeg Rocket 100W bass amp and it sounds magnificent even with a four ohm impedance mismatch. Rated at 150W.
