About This Listing

Very clean example of a very rare 1961 Supro Coronado Model number 1690T (white stripe era) Valco made all tube 2x10 combo amp largely associated with Jimmy Pages earlier recordings. Super nice unmolested largely original example with the exception of a more recent choke (small transformer) and possibly, logo & AC cable. Otherwise all original great sounding tube rectified version with two original Jenson Special Design 10 inch speakers, powered by two 6L6 power tubes and tube rectifier. A very nice all original condition 9 or better, both channels work, tremolo could be stronger, plenty loud with tons of headroom, great bandwidth and presence and woody warmth. A great piece for collecting, a fine instrument for playing, a thoroughly sound investment. All instruments are examined, cleaned before selling. This thoroughly vetted instrument is 100% original including the wrap, all parts and hardware. No modifications or repairs, no cracks or breaks. Fast and free same day safe shipping, USPS Priority fully insured by Heritage Insurance, only $2199. Thanks, VGA
