This guitar is in straight up "you need to see it to believe it" condition. While not the only National guitar to utilize the distinct "Map" body shape, the Glenwood model was made with the same "Res-o-glass" material as found on the JB Hutto Supro guitars (aka the Jack White model). A guitar of this condition and pedigree is a clear target for any collector, but what's even more impressive is just how easily it plays and how wonderful it sounds. And just look at the deco design of the inlays and pickups.
Condition: Hard to believe this one isn't a reissue considering how minty it is. Less three dings in the back of the neck, there are almost no blemishes on this guitar. Pickups and hardware show little wear, all logos and knob are intact, and original Grover tuners. Art-deco style butterfly inlays really put this classic over the top.
Playability: Action is mid level, with plenty of fret life left. The smooth necks invites smooth gliding up and down the neck. Pickups are low output with 6 knobs to tweak the tone to your taste. Overall, this National is ready to rip—grab it before Jack White catches wind that Rick is selling it off.
