**UPDATE 3/28** LAST CALL FOR OFFERS. I want to thank everyone for their time and interest in "Miss Ethel Rose" here. I've had a lot of fun with this amp and it's time for someone else to have that chance. There have been many serious offers come through and I must admit to some waffling on even selling it. That's in the past now. Baby is on the way and it's time to let go of some toys. That said, I've declined two offers at $3,000 so any less won't get it. I'm willing to reduce my price to meet those offers at $3,300. Best of luck everyone and a special thanks to Tom Fiacco for passing the listing on to his friends.
All the best,
Andrew M. Dougherty

Now accepting offers on my Classic (1953) Danelectro Commando 88, Little Walter 8x8 Harmonica Amp. It's a stage setup in a suitcase with 6 inputs on two separate channels. Sounds great for guitar or mic your favorite harp.
All Original RCA Tubes. All 8 original 8" speakers with matching Date Codes (5337). This is the earliest model I've ever seen and the dry local climate has been kind to this gem.
Now for the few dingers: The jewel light does not work. There is some minor staining on the top of the case. Finally, one corner of the wicker grille has been pushed in slightly (but thankfully no tears, see photos). She also has that classic tube amp hum. I can only hope be in such great shape at 64 years old!
I plugged it in an played it yesterday! All original wiring, original potentiometers, including the original 20' ft cable for the detachable cabinet. Amps don't get much more rare and few, if any, can produce the warm, classic tone of these early American built tube amps.
I removed the back panel last year for some cleaning and was floored by the craftsmanship and pain-staking attention to detail. It's almost museum like inside there. Each of the dozens of tiny resistors are hand-painted with color codes and (I presume) that's the builder's initials inside the cover plate.
